ETC announces MOU between subsidiary ETC-PZL and Sikorsky Aerospace Services to Examine Training Support for BLACK HAWK Users in Europe


Southampton, PA – October 8, 2012, ETC (www.etcusa.com) announced today the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between its Polish subsidiary ETC-PZL Aerospace Industries Ltd. (ETC-PZL) (www. http://www.ai.com.pl/) with Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS). The MOU will examine how ETC-PZL can best provide aircrew training systems and maintenance support in the case that Poland’s Ministry of Defence should acquire Polish-built S-70i(TM) BLACK HAWK helicopters for its armed forces.
 
According to the conditions of the MOU, discussions will focus on how ETC-PZL will support training, logistics and maintenance requirements for all simulators and training devices in the event of the acquisition of S-70i(TM) helicopters by the Polish Ministry of Defence.
 
ETC-PZL produces digital cockpit flight simulators and training devices as well as high level truck, bus and locomotive driver’s simulators. ETC’s business unit, the Aircrew Training System group (www.etcaircrewtraining.com), located at the corporate headquarters in Southampton, PA has designed and manufactured motion based trainers and simulators since 1969.
