George K. Anderson, M.D.
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Dr. Anderson is an experienced physician executive. He served in the Air Force as a flight surgeon, aerospace medicine staff officer, and commander of several medical organizations in Korea, Germany, and United States. He retired from active duty in the grade of Major General. Following his thirty years of military service, he transitioned to executive positions in the private sector. He served as Chief Executive Officer of the Koop Foundation from 1997 to 1998 and as Chief Executive Officer at Oceania, Inc., a medical software company, from 1999 to 2001. A period of practice as an independent medical technology consultant was followed by his current role as Executive Director of the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS). AMSUS, the nonprofit Society of the Federal Health agencies, operates from a headquarters located in Bethesda, Maryland.
Linda J. Brent
Director
Dr. Brent currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Managing Associate for the ASTA Group, LLC, a business development, communications and consulting firm. Additionally, she provides support to the National Training and Simulation Association for strategic planning. Her former positions include serving as Vice President, Business Development of TYBRIN Corporation, with L-3 Communications as Corporate Director of Homeland Security, Director of Advanced Programs for the Link Simulation and Training Division, and as the Director of Operations for Link’s Orlando location. Dr. Brent also spent ten years at Lockheed Martin Corporation in various capacities. She holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees and a Doctorate in Education.
Roger Colley
Director
Mr. Colley is an Industrial Management major graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the former president of two public environmental companies, both regarded as technical leaders in their respective fields. He also served for fifteen years as a Trustee of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Winston E. Scott
Director
Winston E. Scott is a retired U. S. Navy Captain and aviator. He entered Naval Aviation Officers Candidate School in 1973 and completed flight training and was designated a naval aviator in 1974. Scott later earned his Master of Science degree in aeronautical engineering with avionics. During his Navy career, Captain Scott served as a helicopter pilot with Helicopter AntiSubmarine Warfare Squadron Light ThirtyThree at NAS North Island, CA. flying the SH-2F helicopter. He later served a tour of duty as a fighter pilot with Fighter Squadron Eighty Four at NAS Oceana, Virginia flying the F-14 Tomcat fighter/ interceptor. He subsequently served as a production test pilot and engineering director at the Naval Aviation Depot at NAS Jacksonville, FL., as a research development test and evaluation (RDTE) pilot and Deputy Director of the Tactical Aircraft Systems Department in Warminster, Pennsylvania. As a RDTE pilot Scott was current in the F-14 Tomcat, the F/A-18 Hornet and the A-7 Corsair aircraft. He has accumulated more than 7,000 hours of flight time in more than 25 different military and civilian aircraft and more than 200 shipboard landings. Captain Scott was an associate instructor of electrical engineering at Florida A&M University and Florida Community College at Jacksonville.
Captain Scott was selected to become an astronaut by NASA in 1992. Serving as a mission specialist, he logged over 24 days in space; including 3 spacewalks totaling over 19 hours.
He has advised elected officials on matters related to space and aeronautics.
Semi-retired Capt. Scott currently serves as Senior Advisor to the President for External Relations at Florida Institute of Technology. Capt. Scott holds the rank of professor of aeronautics in the college of aeronautics and professor of music in the college of psychology and liberal arts.
Captain Scott’s book Reflections from Earth Orbit was published in 2005.
Brian J. Eccleston
Director
Mr. Eccleston is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Partner at GraniteRidge Asset Management LP. Prior thereto, Mr. Eccleston was with BDO USA, LLP for 28 years in increasing roles of responsibility. Most recently, Brian served as Managing Partner, North East Region (Assurance and Tax) and as a Member of the BDO USA Board of Directors. Prior thereto, Brian was New York Managing Partner, Assurance Services; Philadelphia Managing Partner, Assurance Services, and; Assurance Partner, NY Metro Practice. Mr. Eccleston received a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Business Information Systems from the University Of British Columbia
Robert L. Laurent, Jr.
Chief Executive Officer and President
Mr. Laurent joined ETC in 2011 as Chief Financial Officer, was elected as President in November 2013 and named Chief Executive Officer and Director in September 2014. From 1980 to 2008, he was with Fedders Corporation where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1987 to 1998 and from 2004 to 2008. From 1998 through 2004, Mr. Laurent served as Executive Vice President – Acquisitions and Alliances. Mr. Laurent was a private consultant from 2008 through 2010. Mr. Laurent received a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University.
He is a member of the Aerospace Medical Association and a Director of the Aerospace Medical Association Foundation.
