Environmental Tectonics Corporation’s Simulation Division Awarded Contract by Tarrant County College to Deliver Advanced Disaster Management Simulator

SOUTHAMPTON, Pa., Dec. 23, 2010 — Environmental Tectonics Corporation’s (OTC Bulletin Board: ETCC) (“ETC” or the “Company”) Simulation Division, located in Orlando, FL, today announced the signing of a contract with Tarrant County College to deliver a complete ADMS-US team training system. The ADMS (Advanced Disaster Management Simulator) system will be utilized in Tarrant County’s Public Safety Institute to augment the existing curriculum.

Established in 1965, Tarrant County College (TCC) is currently the sixth largest College or University in the State of Texas. The Public Safety Institute is an academic division on the Northwest Campus of the TCC. The mission of the Public Safety Institute (PSI) is to educate and train practitioners in the public safety community; to prepare individuals to enter careers in criminal justice, fire service, or environmental technology; and to provide information to the public about safety and security.

Marco van Wijngaarden, President of ETC Simulation, stated, “We are excited to welcome Tarrant County College to the ADMS family, and look forward to a long lasting relationship with them. This contract solidifies the value of using ADMS in academic institutions to enhance the curriculum of public safety and emergency management programs.”

ADMS-US is an emergency and disaster management simulator which offers a realistic environment to train first responders, on-scene commanders and incident command teams. ADMS-US was designed to resemble Anytown, USA and comes with a variety of incident scenarios ranging from traffic accidents to large scale disasters. A unique level of immersion is achieved by ETC’s signature technology by blending physics-based simulation, embedded artificial intelligence, accurate animations, photo-realistic graphics and ambient sounds. ADMS allows first responders and emergency managers to train and rehearse in a cost effective, safe, and environmentally friendly way.

ETC was incorporated in 1969 in Pennsylvania and last year we celebrated our 40th anniversary. Our core technologies include the design, manufacture and sale of Training Services (TSG) which includes (1) software driven products and services used to create and monitor the physiological effects of flight; (2) high performance jet tactical flight simulation, and; (3) driving and disaster simulation systems, and Control Systems (CSG) which includes: (1) steam and gas sterilization; (2) testing and simulation devices for the automotive industry, and; (3) hyperbaric and hypobaric chambers.
