Environmental Tectonics Corporation’s Board of Directors is comprised of individuals from the military aviation, commercial aviation, entertainment and philanthropy industries. Below is a listing of information and credentials for each member.
William F. Mitchell
- ETC's Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer since 1969.
- B.S., Physics, Drexel University.
- Graduate work in mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Member of ASME and Drexel University Engineering Advisory Board.
George K. Anderson
- Experienced physician, executive and preventive medicine leader.
- Retired major general (USAF) with 30 years of military experience including as an Air Force flight surgeon.
- Formerly CEO of the Koop Foundation and Deputy Assistant Director of Defense (Health Services Operation and Readiness.)
H. F. "Gerry" Lenfest
- Served as head of Lenfest Communications, a suburban PA cable company, for 26 years (sold to Comcast Corporation in 2000.)
- Prominent businessman and local philanthropist.
- Chairman of the Board of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Lenfest Foundation.
- Graduate of Washington and Lee University and Columbia Law School.
Stephen F. Ryan
- Retired in 2001 from Selas Corporation of America (now known as IntriCon Corporation
- Currently serves as a Director of Bolt Technology Corporation
- Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Iona College and MBA degree from the University of Connecticut.
- Member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
George A. Sawyer
- Founding partner of J.F. Lehman & Company and currently serves as Executive Advisor
- Held a number of prominent positions in private industry and in the United States government,
including serving as President of John J. McMullen Associates, President and Chief Operating Officer of TRE
Corporation, Executive Vice President and Director of General Dynamics Corporation, Vice President of
International Operations for Bechtel Corporation and Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Shipbuilding and
Logistics.
- He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University and completed graduate studies in nuclear
engineering at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratories.
