Field Service Technician

Manufacturer of High Tech Industrial Equipment has an immediate opening for a field service technician.

Products include industrial autoclaves and hyperbaric treatment chambers, which are controlled by proprietary microprocessors and Program Logic Controllers.

Responsibilities include on site assembly installation, troubleshooting and repairing.

Requires use of electrical test equipment, soldering, brazing and standard plumbing & hand tools.

Frequent travel within the United States and occasional international travel.

Candidate must possess the following qualifications:

Driver’s license with DMV driving record in good standing
Excellent electrical & mechanical abilities.
Satisfactory completion of AC/DC circuit analysis instruction
Competent in reading electrical schematics and P & ID drawings.
Good understanding of basic test and calibration equipment, volt-ohm meters, amp-probes, etc.
Formularization of industrial motors 3phase 460 volt
Superior troubleshooting skills in analog/digital electronics with Program Logic Controllers.
Excellent PC & DOS skills
Candidate must be customer-orientated, self-starter that is capable of working with limited supervision.
