ETC Biomedical Systems Group Announces Hyperbaric Chamber Sale to Hyperbaric Healing Institute in Puerto Rico

SOUTHAMPTON, Pa., October 4, 2011 — Southampton, PA, October 4, 2011: Environmental Tectonics Corporation's ("ETC" or the "Company") BioMedical Systems Group (www.etchyperbairchcambers.com) has contracted with Hyperbaric Healing Institute headquartered in Puerto Rico, for the delivery and installation of two BARA-MED® monoplace hyperbaric chambers.

The BARA-MED monoplace hyperbaric chamber is a completely automated chamber which serves to maximize operational efficiency. The automated operational profile allows the attendant to focus each individual patient throughout the entire treatment profile, not on the operation of the equipment, clock/timer, etc. thereby increasing the quality of care received by each patient receive during their treatment session.

The BARA-MED comes standard with the Bara Press software control system which administers the SMOOTH — RIDE "pressure change technology" curvilinear compression protocol serving to enhances patient comfort by reducing incidences of barotraumas by 67%, and increasing the probability the patient will complete all treatment sessions as prescribed.
