ETC to Feature "ADMS" at Rome Disaster Conference

Southampton, Pa, October 3, 2006: - Environmental Tectonics Corporation (AMEX:ETC) ("ETC" or the "Company") today announced that its Advanced Disaster Management Simulator (ADMS) will be a key focus of the 2006 International Disaster and Emergency Response (IDER) Conference in Rome, Italy, October 11th -13th.

IDER, held this year at The Italian Fire Service College, is the global event where specialists in disaster planning and emergency management come together to discuss and develop effective solutions and strategies for the avoidance and handling of emergency situations. ETC is a leading exhibitor, active participant and prime sponsor of IDER 2006.

ETC will showcase ADMS throughout this important world event and will immerse conference delegates in the dynamic and realistic environment of ADMS to demonstrate the real world training value that this unique ETC virtual reality training system provides.

ADMS simulates emergencies incidents such as such as terrorist acts, Weapons of Mass Destruction, hazardous material spills, multi-vehicle road accidents, fires and natural disasters. It simultaneously trains entire response teams in the four C's of disaster management: Command, Control, Coordination and Communication. At IDER 2006 ADMS will assist conference delegates in the IDER goals of establishing the best practices for Readiness, Response, Recovery and Resilience for any disaster or major emergency.

ADMS authentically simulates all the dynamic elements of the whole disaster environment (people, vehicles, threats), and it responds with the outcomes of actions taken to enable real individual training value and the development of complete response team skill sets.

For over a decade ADMS has been in use at US Airports and major firefighting and emergency response training facilities worldwide, and is an industry-proven and mature solution for optimal emergency preparedness. More info on IDER: www.IDERweb.org
