ETC Lands Test Pilot as Key Manager

Southampton, Pa,September 7, 2006: - Environmental Tectonics Corporation (AMEX: ETC) ("ETC" or the "Company") today announced the hiring of Mr. Justin Garr as a key Program Manager for its Aircrew Training Systems (ATS). He will lead projects such as the Tactical Aircraft Configuration Module (TACModule) that replicates the F-18 cockpit for ETC's unique ATFS-400 Authentic Tactical Flight Simulator. Also, he will be involved in developing programs for The National Aerospace Training and Research Center (NASTAR CenterSM), which provides training and research services to governments, commercial aviation and space organizations. "I'm excited to be working on such breakthrough and innovative projects," Justin commented.

Prior to ETC, Justin worked for SRI International as a systems analyst, developing computer-based training in support of US Army aircraft survivability systems. Justin also served five years as a flight test engineer at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Maryland. Before that, Justin was director of aeronautics at the NASA Academy, a prestigious student internship program at Edwards Air Force Base. A graduate of The United States Test Pilot School, Justin, is a private aircraft owner with a highest distinction B.S. in mechanical engineering with aerospace focus from Rutgers University and a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia.
