ETC Announces Expansion of cGMP Manufacturing Facilities

Southampton, Pa, April 10, 2007: - Environmental Tectonics Corporation's (Amex: ETC) ("ETC" or the "Company") Sterilization Systems Division announced today the opening of their expanded cGMP manufacturing facilities to serve the growing demand for Pharmaceutical Grade Sterilization Systems.

John Fay, Technical Director of ETC's Sterilization Systems Division commented, "Recognizing the increased business level in the pharmaceutical and biotech sterilization equipment areas, as well as the stringent technical requirements for regulatory compliance of this equipment, our expanded clean assembly area is ideally suited to the requirements of these users."

The expanded area is equipped with a dedicated and isolated ventilation system that excludes airborne particulate and is further complete with a High Purity Orbital welding and inspection station, high purity steam generation equipment for testing, dedicated materials receiving, isolation and staging area, dedicated polishing and passivation capability, and a metrology based quality control inspection area.
