ETC Announces Acceptance of the ATFS-400 Flight Training Centrifuge by the Royal Malaysian Air Force

SOUTHAMPTON, PA, March 22, 2006 - Environmental Tectonics Corporation (Amex: ETC) ("ETC" or the "Company") today announced acceptance of its futuristic ATFS-400 flight training centrifuge by the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).

The Malaysia government, at a formal ceremony on March 14th, 2006, celebrated the acceptance of the latest ETC ATFS-400 Authentic Tactical Flight Simulator at the new Royal Malaysian Air Force Subang Air Base training facility close to Kuala Lumpur.

During his opening remarks the Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Y.A.B Dato Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak noted that the RMAF ATFS-400 made by ETC is the world's most advanced tactical flight simulator and that it featured 3 interchangeable cockpits.

In attendance was RMAF Commander in Chief, Dato Seri Nik Ismail with over 150 dignitaries and members of the Malaysian science and military community which demonstrates the significance of the ATFS-400's role in Malaya's defense readiness.

The ATFS-400 is the global standard-of-excellence for Tactical Flight Simulators. Using a high performance human centrifuge as a motion platform, it combines the latest available flight simulation technology to optimize flight fidelity including sustained G-force cues. This technology includes aircraft specific cockpits; offensive and defensive mission systems; realistic, wide field-of-view visual displays; and virtual battle space scenes. Pilots will practice critical flight combat skills in a safe, controlled and highly economical environment with a level of realism that is rivaled only by actually flying the aircraft.

William F. Mitchell, ETC's President and CEO, offered his congratulations to the Malaysian government for the collaborative effort they achieved to create the most advanced tactical simulation capability available anywhere in the world.
