ETC's NASTAR Center Participates in Judging 2007 Temple University Carver Science Fair

Southampton, PA- February 13, 2007: - Environmental Tectonics Corporation (AMEX:ETC) ("ETC" or the "Company") today announced that Alex Howerton, Business Development Manager of Space Training for ETC's NASTARsm Center, has been named as a judge for the Space Science Track of the George Washington Carver Science Fair. Founded by a group of educators and businesspersons in 1979, The George Washington Carver Science Fair encourages urban youth to pursue academic achievement and careers in science. The Carver Fair is jointly sponsored by Temple University, The Academy of Natural Sciences, The School District of Philadelphia, and The Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

The Space Science Track has been developed and is sponsored by the Philadelphia Area Space Alliance (PASA) to encourage work on a process, technology or idea clearly presented with documentation that has application in space exploration and colonization. PASA grants two awards in this category, the James H. Chestek Award and the Oscar H. Harris Award.

The competition will be held March 6, 2007, 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., at Temple University at McGonigle/Pearson Hall. The awards will be given on March 9 in a ceremony from 1:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. at Temple University.

Alex stated, "I am proud to be helping out PASA in the Carver Science Fair. The NASTARSM Center is eager to support science and education initiatives that increase the public's understanding of the value and importance of space exploration. We are also very proud to be supporting educational initiatives in Philadelphia."

About The Carver Science Fair
Founded by a group of educators and businesspersons in 1979, The George Washington Carver Science Fair encourages urban youth to pursue academic achievement and careers in science. The Carver Fair is jointly sponsored by Temple University, The Academy of Natural Sciences, The School District of Philadelphia, and The Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It is open to all students in grades four through twelve who attend Philadelphia County public, charter, parochial, and private schools, as well as to home-schooled students residing in the county. Since its inception, over 20,000 students have participated in the Carver Science Fair and have, in many cases, moved on to compete in the Delaware Valley Regional and Intel International Science Fairs. The George Washington Carver Science Fair is named in honor of the late Dr. George Washington Carver: scientist, inventor, sculptor, musician, and great humanitarian.
