SOUTHAMPTON, Pa., Feb. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Environmental Tectonics
Corporation (Amex: ETC) ("ETC" or the "Company") today announced that its
wholly owned subsidiary, Entertainment Technology Corporation (EnTCo), is
working with the San Diego Zoo to create a new high technology immersion
experience which will also educate guests about endangered species.
Set to debut at the San Diego Zoo this summer, Wild Earth(R) is a
simulator experience that allows guests to feel as though they are riding
through African plains. Based on the award-winning game title by Super X
Studios, the show is created through physically modeled animation. The
interactive program asks guests to fulfill conservation-themed assignments
such as documenting the natural habitat of various wildlife and safely
returning to base camp while engaging them through realistic movement and
computer-generated imagery.
Dave Mitchell, Director of Sales & Marketing for EnTCo, stated, "We are
honored that such a highly regarded organization like the San Diego Zoo sees
the value of Wild Earth(R) in conveying their conservation message and
engaging their visitors with new and fresh attractions. We look forward to
working with the San Diego Zoo leadership in the years to come."
This technological approach to educating guests about conservation is a
new approach for the San Diego Zoo. Marge Sheldon, Director of Merchandising
for the San Diego Zoo, stated, "We realize that older children and young
adults often need something more interactive to catch their attention. EnTCo
has worked with us to create a conservation-themed message which will educate
and thrill at the same time while helping to raise funds which support the
Zoo's mission."
Wild Earth(R) is expected to be available to guests to the San Diego Zoo
beginning in June of 2005. Cost for the experience will be $6.00 per person.
EnTCo has designed and engineered a number of cutting-edge simulation
attractions for major entertainment and education clients. EnTCo prides
itself on providing cutting-edge, family-oriented, entertainment and education
simulators to customers in the Amusement/Theme Park, Museums, Zoo/Aquarium and

necessary to deliver a unique guest experience and the science required to
make it comfortable and enjoyable to a very broad audience demographic. The
uniqueness of EnTCo's experience development capability resides in its in-
house creative software development, and multi-disciplined engineering staff,
complemented by its complete turnkey capabilities - from concept to
