Environmental Tectonics Corporation Opens A New European Office

SOUTHAMPTON, Pa.: February 27, 2003 - Environmental Tectonics Corporation (Amex: ETC) has recently opened a new office in Europe to better support its current and future customers. The office provides sales, technical, project management and service support throughout Western Europe. One of the focuses of the office is to address the requirements of engine designers and manufacturers with the use of the Combustion Air Supply units that can control not only temperature and humidity but has un-rivalled control and simulation of pressure and altitude respectively.

ETC has chosen Dr Roger Macklin to lead the new office. Dr Macklin has 6 years experience in defining, designing, project managing and installing environmental testing equipment for the Automotive, HVAC and other industries for customers such as Ford Motor Company and DaimlerChrysler among others.

Haroon Haider, Business Unit Manager for the Test and Simulation Systems Group, said: "This office can provide sales and technical support to all of our existing, and future customers. Western Europe is a significant market for us and this helps to strengthen our offering to our customers. Along with our support network in China, India and the Far East, this new office simply improves our ability to offer solutions to the Automotive and HVAC industries globally."

ETC designs, develops, installs and maintains aircrew training systems, public entertainment systems, process simulation systems (sterilization and environmental), clinical hyperbaric systems, environmental testing and simulation systems, and related products for domestic and international customers. The environmental test and simulation division builds test facilities for simulating, repeating and controlling climatic conditions for the automotive, HVAC and other industries.
