SOUTHAMPTON, Pa., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Environmental Tectonics
Corporation (Amex: ETC) is proud to announce that it has been awarded a
contract to deliver five of its Pro-Genesis(R) III cGMP Legacy Control System
upgrades to be fitted onto existing industrial sterilization equipment by an
international pharmaceutical manufacturer. ETC will develop a project
specific software program, integrate this into the new PLC control hardware
and install the new systems at the customer's facility.
Pro-Genesis(R) III control systems are built on an industry standard
platform that will give the customer ease of maintenance and reduce life-cycle
costs. These controls will execute all process control and data retrieval in
accordance with current FDA requirements. The installation of these ETC
control platforms ensures that the customer has the greatest degree of
flexibility to further upgrade both software and hardware as it becomes
available.
ETC provides customized sterilizer control systems upgrades and
consultancy services to assist clients with identifying and selecting the most
effective system solutions. This service enables companies wishing to
develop, expand or update their sterilization control capability to optimize
equipment selection and product throughput while maximizing facility safety.
