SOUTHAMPTON, Pa., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Environmental Tectonics Corporation (Amex: ETC) announced today the selection of Mr. Thomas Delaney as Quality Assurance Director. Reporting directly to William F. Mitchell, ETC's President and Chairman in this role, Mr. Delaney will assume worldwide responsibility for all quality related functions including ETC's ISO 9001 quality system, support of all Business Unit quality requirements, and specific responsibility for the Company's three major projects in the Entertainment, Aircrew Training Systems, and Hypo/hyperbaric Groups.

Mr. Delaney most recently served as Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for L-3 Communications, Microcom Division, a U.S. Defense contractor located in Warminster, PA. where he was responsible for quality assurance requirements for four major projects. Prior to that Mr. Delaney held senior positions with Mikros Systems Corporation, Frequency Engineering Laboratories, and Base Ten Systems. Mr. Delaney has considerable experience with both commercial and U.S. DOD contracts and is a Vietnam veteran, having served four years in the U.S. Navy.

William F. Mitchell, ETC's President and Chairman, commented that, "We are very pleased that Tom will be spearheading our Quality Assurance function.
